Child Care


The United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians operates the Henry Lee Doublehead Child Development Center. The facility is located off West Willis Road in Tahlequah, at the United Keetoowah Band Tribal Complex.

The state-of-the-art facility is currently serving over 80 children. The center is also home to the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) program. The CCDF program can assist in paying for childcare services for low-income families in which either the Parent OR Child is an exclusive member of the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokees and meets income guidelines.
