Helping Hands Caregiver Program
The United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma Helping Hands Elder Services program provides respite care assistance for disabled tribal members. The Caregiver program is designed to provide secondary relief to caregiver providers to tribal members.
The Helping Hands Care Giver Support Program offers support to caregivers who are caring for family members or Keetoowah Elders - 55 or older, including a respite care giver relief for these regular caregivers.
This program offers to pay a caregiver (respite provider) to give a regular caregiver relief at the rate of $7.00 per hour, up to 57 hours. Available contingent upon funds.
